Yacht Charter Security Deposit Guarantee
Providing this cover allows yacht charter brokers to provide their clients with peace of mind so they are free to enjoy their holiday.
We provide cover for total or partial loss of the charterers deposit due to:
- Damage to the rental vessel
- Damage to the dinghy, gelcoat, sails, and winches
- Loss of use of the rental vessel due to damage
- Costs associated with wreck removal/disposal.
Yacht Charter Cancellation Protection
When booking charters months in advance, clients do not always know what their situation will be on the start date!
Therefore, with the purchase of this product we will provide a refund of the Charter Fee paid by the Charterer if they are unable to attend the charter due to circumstances outside of their control. This includes:
- Incapacity caused by accident/injury/illness.
- Incapacity of a dependent caused by accident/illness injury.
- Death of the charterer or a member of their immediate family.
- Adverse weather preventing the charterer’s safe travel to the point of embarkation.
- Being an active military member being called to duty.
- Jury duty or having to appear at court proceedings as a witness.
- Having to self-isolate due to Covid-19.
