Purposes of Processing and the Legal Basis for Processing

  • use for our legitimate interests such as managing our business and fraud or crime prevention. Please note that under no circumstances do we sell your data or pass your data to those that wish to use it for marketing purposes.

Where we Store your Personal Data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the processing or your refund request, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services.

We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy notice.
The data that we collect from you will at times, be transferred to and stored at in the United Kingdom. It may also be processed by staff operating in the United Kingdom who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the processing or your refund request, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. This is supported by the adequacy decision adopted by the EU Commission on 28 June 2021 regarding the UK’s adequacy under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and Law Enforcement Directive (LED).

How long we hold your data for

How long we hold your data for is subject to a number of pieces of legislation and regulations – as a general rule, we will keep your data for 6 years after the end our relationship with you or the last service provided. We will however endeavor not to keep any of your personal data longer than is necessary to fulfil the relevant purpose and/or comply with a specific legal retention period.

Information We Need

If you do not provide certain information, we may not be able to provide the requested services to you.

We will tell you when we ask for information which is not a contractual requirement or is not needed to comply with our legal obligations.

Automated Decision-Making

We do not analyse your information using automated means.

Your Rights with Respect to Our Use of Your Data
From 25 May 2018, you have several enhanced rights in relation to how we use your information.

If you wish to exercise any of your data rights (for example, if you wish to update your details, view a copy of the information we hold on your, request that any inaccurate personal data be corrected, blocked, deleted or to change your consent choices (where applicable), you can contact us by writing to the address above or by emailing us.

If we are unable to deal with your request fully within a calendar month (due to the complexity or number of requests) we may extend this period by a further two calendar months and shall explain the reason why. If you make your request electronically, we will try to provide you with the relevant information electronically.

If you are not happy with any aspect of how your data is used, you also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
